Well it’s September 1st. So this is just reminder to do your end of the month review and find out where your money went last month. With a review of last month’s expenses you will learn where your money is going and where you can possibly reduce spending and save more. Remember to check your bank and or credit card statements and see if you can make a phone call and reduce your monthly rate. If you are taking part in the 52 week challenge congratulations you should now have $630.00 in your savings. If you don’t you can don’t have to feel you need to catch up simply start today just add a dollar to your savings account and then add to that each week $1.00 this week $2.00 next and so on by the end of the year you will be surprised by just how much you’ve saved.

Back to School Sales through Labor Day: pens, pencils, paper (filler & printing), backpacks, erasers, folders, binders, dividers
Labor Day Sales: restaurants deals, movie theater perks (free popcorn, soda, concession candy), shoe & apparel store weekend passes, mattresses
Diabetes awareness: glucose meters, Glucerna cereal, diabetic care– socks, test strips, sugar free products, vitamins, weight scales
Seasonal Produce: apples, artichokes, beans, cucumbers, eggplant, grapes, onions, pears (Asian & Bartlett), peppers (bell and chili), squash, tomatillo, tomatoes
Clearance: camping gear, gardening supplies, bug spray, fans & air conditioners, BBQ supplies– grills, charcoal, lighters
